Inventory Control Specialist / Operations Associate

About the Role

The Inventory Control Specialist / Operations Associate is a full-time, on-site position based in Los Angeles, CA, responsible for overseeing day-to-day inventory and operational workflows for a modern luxury brand specializing in Swiss-made watches and European fine jewelry.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing stock levels.
• Performing regular reconciliations between physical inventory and system records.
• Ensuring accurate product labeling, storage, and tracking.
• Supporting order processing, packaging, and shipping for watches and jewelry.
• Coordinating with internal teams to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Monitoring incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Updating inventory databases.
• Creating simple reports on stock status and product movement.
• Collaborating closely with customer-facing and operations teams to maintain smooth processes, resolve inventory issues, and uphold brand standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Operations skills, including experience with inventory control, order processing, and workflow coordination.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
• Analytical skills to reconcile stock discrepancies, interpret inventory data, and support process improvements.
• Effective communication skills for clear documentation, status updates, and coordination.

• Comfort working with inventory management or ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in luxury goods, retail, or logistics is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary education in business, operations, or related field preferred.
