About the Role

We are seeking an exceptionally talented Sourcer Recruiter to join our North American Operations recruiting team at Amazon and help us find the best talent in the US market to support our growth. You will work with a team of recruiting professionals, fostering a collaborative and service-oriented culture to deliver efficient, effective, and quality-driven service to internal customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit passive candidates by profiling individuals, gauging their fit, and understanding their motivations.
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
• Conduct in-depth interviews to anticipate hiring manager preferences.
• Recommend recruitment strategies that contribute to the company's long-range growth.
• Implement and refine recruiting processes that align with Amazon's mission.
• Articulate plans with deliverables, timelines, and tracking processes in writing.
• Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/Open web, and other sourcing channels.
• Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess fit.
• Filter candidates during recruiter phone screens.
• Perform on-phone and virtual candidate screening to assess qualification and skill alignment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience managing, prioritizing, and closing searches against timelines.
• Experience setting benchmarks and metrics.
• Understanding of how to prioritize to meet customer SLAs.
• Ability to thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize time, demonstrate pushback, and a sense of urgency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive recruiting or research experience in a corporate or search firm setting.
• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience.
• Experience with a contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates.
• Ability to curate market intelligence for saturated markets.
• Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing, and screening candidates in specialized technical fields.
• Ability to articulate role-based value proposition to candidates.
• Ability to build strategies and brainstorm efficient and creative sourcing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing high volume as well as niche hiring.

Contractual Details:

• This is a 6-month contractual role.
• Working Hours: 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM IST.
• Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Gurgaon (Remote role).
