About the Role
1AIaas.Cloud builds AI staff designed to free human intelligence for judgment and creativity. The company focuses on delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions without the cost and complexity of in-house development. This is a full-time, on-site Generative AI Engineer role based in Coimbatore.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize AI agents and applications using large language models and related generative technologies.
- Model selection and fine-tuning.
- Prompt and workflow engineering.
- API integration.
- Build robust back-end services that support AI-driven products.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Run experiments and evaluations to improve model performance.
- Implement monitoring, safety, and reliability measures for production systems.
- Contribute to internal tools, documentation, and best practices.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience building production-grade back-end services or APIs.
- Hands-on experience with large language models and generative AI (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source LLMs).
- Experience with fine-tuning, prompt engineering, evaluation, and optimization of LLMs.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
- Understanding of model deployment, performance tuning, and data pipelines.
- Comfort working with cloud platforms and developer tooling (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure, containers, CI/CD, version control).
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Collaborative work habits.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
- Experience in AI safety, responsible AI practices, or user-centric product development is a plus.
- Prior work in startups or fast-paced innovation environments is a plus.
