About the Role
MacDougal Studios is seeking a full-time Junior Video Editor based in Delhi, India. This role involves assisting in editing video content for B2B campaigns, including interviews, product explainers, case studies, and promotional materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizing raw footage
- Assembling rough cuts
- Refining edits
- Synchronizing audio
- Performing basic color corrections
- Preparing files for review and final delivery
- Collaborating with senior editors, designers, and content strategists
- Supporting motion graphics and visual enhancements
- Maintaining an organized media library
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Video Production

- Basic proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Familiarity with motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Visual storytelling ability
- Understanding of pacing, composition, and sound synchronization are preferred
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing work is highly desirable
- Formal education in film, media, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn B2B communication nuances and adapt to varied industry requirements is expected
