About the Role
The laboratory of Dr. Wieland at the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology (PIIO) studies the immunological landscape of human papillomavirus-associated head and neck cancer (HNC). The lab seeks a Research Associate to provide technical support for this research. The successful candidate will contribute to both day-to-day laboratory operations and research activities that advance the lab’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for research activities.
- Contribute to day-to-day laboratory operations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to translate, adapt and apply academic and/or practical knowledge in the conduct of biological/health science research.
- Experience in a biological/health science research capacity is preferred.
- Requires successful completion of a background check.
- Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate biological/health science or equivalent experience.
