Management Trainee

About the Role

Summit Careers is hiring a Management Trainee to learn recruiting, client service, and branch operations. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for recent college graduates who want meaningful responsibility, hands-on training, and a clear path to grow. You’ll help people find work and businesses build their teams while working toward an Operations Manager role in approximately 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and onboard candidates.
• Build client relationships and coordinate hiring needs.
• Support employee performance, engagement, and retention.
• Help resolve daily employee and client issues.
• Learn how to keep a staffing branch organized and deliver results.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Initiative, accountability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and follow through.
• Openness to coaching and feedback.
• No previous professional experience is required.
• Experience in retail, restaurants, hospitality, customer service, internships, or campus leadership is a plus.

Your Growth and Compensation

Build your skills through a structured development path:

• Recruiter: $55,000 annually. Target milestone around month 4.
• Account Manager: $57,500 annually. Target milestone around months 7–8.
• Operations Manager: $57,500 base salary, plus eligibility for quarterly performance bonuses, with target total annual earnings of approximately $65,000. Target milestone around month 12.
• Advancement depends on performance, readiness, and available business opportunities.
• Promotions and target earnings are not guaranteed.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional earlier or later hours based on employee, client, or operational needs.
