About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for promoting a safe and secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and implement safety procedures.
• Coordinate safety training programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Investigate incidents and near misses.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with operations, HR, and management to drive continuous improvement.
• Support emergency preparedness and security measures.
• Support employee awareness initiatives related to occupational health and safety.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• BE-Mechanical/ Electrical with ME Industrial Safety from Approved Colleges or from RLI.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, including relevant regulations and best practices.
• Skills in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis, incident reporting, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Experience in Security, including coordinating site access controls, monitoring compliance with security protocols, and supporting emergency response plans.
• Experience in Safety Training, including designing and delivering training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
• NEBOSH and/or IOSH professional certifications.
• Familiarity with local statutory requirements is an advantage.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
• Experience in a manufacturing industry and a proven track record of improving safety performance is highly beneficial.
