Communications Associate

About the Role

• Full-Time | On-Site | Entry-Level | Landover, MD
• At Aurafé Expansion Group, communication happens face-to-face.
• Work with businesses and nonprofit organizations to expand their reach and build lasting customer and supporter relationships.
• Represent clients at live events, promotional pop-ups, retail locations, and public venues across the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
• Hands-on communication and customer acquisition work, where listening, professional representation, and measurable results all matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage members of the public, initiate conversations, and represent client brands professionally.
• Explain products, services, offers, brand messages, and campaign initiatives clearly and accurately.
• Build rapport, understand people's needs, answer questions, and create positive customer experiences.
• Help interested individuals become new customers or supporters, including completing sign-ups where appropriate.
• Contribute to customer and supporter acquisition goals while collaborating with colleagues to deliver organized, effective campaigns.

Compensation and Support

• Weekly base pay plus performance-based incentives, including commissions.
