Article Trainee

About the Role

Article Trainee at Bilimoria Mehta & Co., Chartered Accountants. This is a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the firm’s tax and advisory practice through day-to-day work.
• Assist with compliance, documentation, and basic tax computations in direct and indirect taxation.
• Research tax and regulatory provisions.
• Help prepare reports and working papers.
• Support senior team members on assignments involving RBI, FEMA, and government approvals.
• Participate in audits.
• Perform data collection and verification.
• Maintain client files.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of projects and project finance-related tasks.
• Coordinate regularly with partners and staff.
• Adhere to professional standards and complete assigned work in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Qualified both groups of CA IPCC to be eligible to register as an articled assistant.
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
• Basic understanding of direct and indirect taxation.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Comfort working on financial and tax-related software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare clear working papers and basic reports.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Time management abilities.
• Commitment to ethical and professional conduct.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to take guidance from seniors.
