About the Role
Sevita provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role offers part-time positions with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.
Available Shift
- (Part-Time)
- Week 1: Sun: 8a-8p (12 hours), Mon: 2p-10p (8 hours), Tues: 4p-10p (6 hours)
- Week 2: Sun: 8a-2p (8 hours), Wed: 4p-10p (6 hours), Thurs: 4p-10p (6 hours), Sat: 8a-1p (5 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Help people grow, learn, and live well.
- Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
- Assist participants in being part of the community and enjoying their favorite activities.
- Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Assist people with their personal hygiene.
- Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Driver's License: Held for at least 1 year (post permit).
- Driving Record: Clean and meets Sevita's insurability policy.
- Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred).
- Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
- Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
