Role Description
The Professional Photographer will work full-time on-site in Hyderabad, capturing high-quality images for portraits, events, lifestyle shoots, and commercial assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and executing photo shoots
- Setting up lighting and equipment
- Directing subjects
- Ensuring proper composition and exposure
- Collaborating with clients and internal team members to understand creative briefs
- Recommending visual concepts
- Maintaining brand consistency
- Managing post-production tasks: selecting, retouching, and preparing images for print, digital, and social media
- Maintaining organized archives
- Caring for equipment
- Staying current with industry trends and techniques
- Supporting studio operations as needed
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Professional cameras, lenses, lighting setups, and studio equipment
- Photo editing and post-production using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent software
- Organized archives and efficient image workflows
Qualifications
- Strong technical photography skills
- Expertise in photo editing and post-production
- Creative and artistic abilities: solid sense of composition, color, storytelling, and attention to detail
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to direct subjects, interpret briefs, and collaborate effectively
- Sound organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple shoots and meet deadlines
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field, or a strong professional portfolio demonstrating varied work, are highly beneficial.
- Experience in event, wedding, portrait, or commercial photography, particularly in studio or on-location settings, is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to manage physically demanding on-site assignments.
