About the Role
Motel One is offering a comprehensive 3-year apprenticeship to become a Hotel Clerk (m/f/d). This role provides exposure to all departments of an internationally successful hotel group, with a specific focus on commercial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Service: Enhance guest breakfast experience and serve soft drinks and cocktails in the One Lounge.
- Housekeeping: Ensure guest rooms are clean and comfortable.
- Reception: Welcome guests and manage smooth check-ins.
- Reservations & Sales: Handle guest room reservation inquiries and organize group arrivals.
- Administration: Gain insights into Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Channel Management.
- In the third year, the apprenticeship emphasizes administrative aspects, including tax, analytical, and commercial elements of the hotel industry.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Successful school completion
- Enjoy interacting with international guests and working in a team
- Flexibility and openness to learning new things
- Good German and English language skills
- Understanding of numbers and processes
Qualifications
- Personality and hospitality skills are paramount.
- Motivation is essential.
- Ideally, previous experience in the hotel or gastronomy industry, e.g., through internships.
