About the Role

The Solar Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities at residential rooftop solar installation sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising installation teams
• Coordinating site schedules
• Ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and in line with design specifications and quality standards
• Monitoring site resources
• Verifying compliance with electrical and safety norms
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and vendors to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations
• Conducting site inspections
• Preparing progress reports
• Guiding teams on best practices
• Maintaining clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Supervisory Skills and Team Leadership abilities
• Knowledge of Power Generation processes
• Familiarity with Power Plants or distributed solar systems
• Project Management capabilities, including scheduling, resource coordination, and progress tracking
• Practical understanding of rooftop solar installations
• Practical understanding of basic electrical systems
• Understanding of relevant safety standards and regulations
• Proficiency in using digital tools for reporting and documentation

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy engineering (or a related technical field) is preferred
• Prior experience in solar or power sector site supervision is preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in the field under varying conditions
