Content Writing Intern

About the Role

At Social Pill, you’ll create engaging content for diverse brands, contribute to digital campaigns, and explore fresh ways to communicate ideas through words. You’ll work closely with our creative and account management teams to develop content for social media, digital campaigns, blogs, and other brand communication requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Copywriting
• Write engaging social media captions, post copy, headlines, taglines, and short-form content for different brands.
• Help write scripts for reels, short-form videos, and other digital content formats.
• Create blog articles, website copy, and other long-form content as required.
• Campaign Ideation & Research
• Contribute fresh ideas for social media campaigns, digital activations, and brand communication.
• Research industry trends, audience interests, competitor content, and relevant cultural moments to identify creative opportunities.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborate with the team to develop compelling content concepts.
• Understand different brand personalities and adapt writing styles to suit their tone of voice.
• Content Planning & Collaboration
• Assist in developing content calendars and planning content for social media platforms.
• Work closely with designers, account managers, and other team members to ensure content aligns with creative concepts.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions to improve content quality and effectiveness.
• Ensure content is clear, engaging, grammatically accurate, and consistent with brand guidelines.
• SEO & Digital Content
• Assist with basic keyword research and develop SEO-friendly content when required.
• Explore relevant digital platforms, content formats, and emerging trends to strengthen content ideas.
• Use AI tools to support research and ideation while ensuring the final output is original, relevant, and thoughtfully written.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• A creative mindset with an interest in content writing, copywriting, advertising, and digital marketing.
• Good research skills and the ability to translate ideas into engaging content.
• Understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Strong attention to detail, grammar, sentence structure, and proofreading.
• Ability to understand brand tone of voice and write for different audiences.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Familiarity with SEO concepts and AI writing tools is an advantage.
• Writing samples, personal blogs, college projects, or a content portfolio are a plus.
