About the Role
The CAD Architectural and Structural Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural and structural drawings and models using CAD and BIM tools, based on design inputs and project specifications. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting engineering and architectural plans.
- Creating accurate layouts, sections, elevations, and reinforcement details.
- Updating drawings in line with design revisions and client feedback.
- Coordinating with engineers and architects.
- Maintaining drawing standards and documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and project requirements.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong CAD drafting skills for architectural and structural detailing.
- Experience with industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or other BIM tools).
- Sound knowledge of architectural and structural concepts, building materials, and construction practices.
- Basic understanding of relevant codes and standards.
- Skills in reading and interpreting engineering and architectural drawings.
- Abilities in maintaining drawing documentation and version control.
- Following established drafting standards and workflows.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior experience as a CAD draughtsman in structural or architectural design.
- Familiarity with BIM methodologies and 3D modeling.
- Experience in infrastructure, oil and gas, or water and irrigation projects.
