Mobile Platform AI Developer

About the Role

This is an entry-level, full-time W2 position for a Mobile Platform AI Developer. The role begins in Atlanta and involves travel for client-facing projects with Fortune 500 companies across the U.S. The position offers hands-on experience at the intersection of mobile technology and artificial intelligence, with dedicated technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• Work with mobile development technologies such as Kotlin, Java, Swift, or cross-platform frameworks like Flutter and React Native.
• Support the integration of AI-powered features into mobile applications using APIs, SDKs, and existing AI/ML services.
• Work with REST APIs, JSON, backend services, and application data integration.
• Assist in implementing AI capabilities such as intelligent recommendations, chat interfaces, text processing, and automation.
• Learn and apply mobile application architecture, UI/UX principles, and responsive design practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, unit testing, and application performance optimization.
• Use Git and version control tools to collaborate with development teams.
• Support application deployment, release management, and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with senior developers, AI engineers, and client teams.
• Stay updated on emerging mobile technologies and AI development tools.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic programming knowledge in at least one language, such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, Python, or JavaScript.
• Foundational understanding of Android or iOS application development.
• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software development principles.
• Understanding of APIs, HTTP requests, JSON, and client-server communication.
• Basic awareness of artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, or AI-powered application development.
• Familiarity with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting application issues.
• Understanding of Git or other version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Bonus Points (Not Required)

• Exposure to Android Studio, Xcode, Kotlin, Swift, or Java.
• Familiarity with Flutter, React Native, or other cross-platform mobile frameworks.
• Experience integrating REST APIs or third-party SDKs into applications.
• Exposure to AI APIs, large language models (LLMs), or generative AI services.
• Familiarity with TensorFlow Lite, Core ML, ML Kit, or other on-device AI technologies.
• Understanding of Python and basic machine learning concepts.
• Exposure to cloud-based AI services or mobile backend platforms.
• Experience with Firebase, authentication, push notifications, or mobile analytics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and mobile application deployment.
• Personal projects, academic projects, internships, or a portfolio demonstrating mobile development skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay increases as you accumulate billable hours.
• After 500 billable hours: +$2.00/hr
• After 1,000 billable hours: Another +$2.00/hr
• Every additional 500 billable hours: +$1.00/hr
