About the Role

StaffSource is looking for a Recruiter to join their team. This is a full-time, onsite position in Knoxville, TN.

Key Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and job fairs.
• Interview candidates by phone, video, or in person to understand their skills and career goals.
• Present strong matches to clients.
• Set up interviews and keep all parties informed.
• Conduct reference checks and verifications.
• Perform follow-up calls.
• Manage a variety of roles including temp, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire across admin, industrial, skilled trades, manufacturing, and professional positions.
• Work in a goal-driven environment with placement targets.
• Spend significant time on the phone.
• Maintain up-to-date notes in the ATS.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with a staffing agency or ATS/CRM is a bonus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Hospitality background is a plus.
• Tech background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to talk to people and be genuinely curious about their stories.
• Capability to juggle multiple searches simultaneously.
• Proven ability to follow up on commitments.
• Skill in handling candidate information with discretion.
• Ability to treat both candidates and clients with respect.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, or customer service is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to read people, solve problems on the fly, and keep customers happy.
• Comfort in picking up new tools and creative sourcing.
• Experience running a shift, handling busy environments, or resolving guest issues is beneficial.
