About the Role
Location: CHANDLER-GILBERT COMMUNITY COLLEGE (PECOS CAMPUS)
Workdays/shifts: Weekdays – morning shifts
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $16.25 - $17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a cash register (or equivalent), receive payments, make change, and issue receipts.
- Provide high-quality service to customers.
- Maintain proper security of cash.
- Support the retail operation, including setup, maintaining supplies and products, and assisting in cleanup and closing down.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Cash register/POS operation.
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods (may exceed 8 hours).
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and/or pull.
- Frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
- Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
- May require a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification, depending on location.
- Must comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements if alcohol is served.
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 0 to 1 year related experience.
- If alcohol is served, must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol based on local regulations.
