New Graduate RN Nurse Sponsorship TN Visa ONLY

About the Role

HCA Healthcare is committed to the growth and development of future nurses, offering sponsorship to Canadian and Mexico students who meet qualifications with TN Visa to EB3. This is a year-long HCA Healthcare Residency Program designed to provide hands-on experience and establish valuable clinical and critical thinking skills. As a Resident I Graduate Nurse, you will be part of a supportive community of nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents.

Eligibility Note: This opportunity is for new graduates from a Nursing program meeting sponsorship qualifications. Individuals not local to the US and who did not graduate recently from a Nursing program should not apply.

The HCA Healthcare Residency Program at Lee's Summit Medical Center assists with the transition from the classroom through a formalized series of learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department requirements and scope/standards of practice.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team members to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using nursing models.
• Serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.
• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by medical providers and document care.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and intervene as appropriate for unintended responses.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipating and resolving needs proactively.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures, translating complex medical terminology for understanding.
• Participate in advanced clinical training in a specialty area.
• Attend monthly educational sessions.
• Engage in preceptorship training with a facility preceptor.
• Participate in skills measurement and evaluation through hands-on simulations.
• Receive mentoring from experienced nurse leaders.
• Collaborate on an evidence-based practice project.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Other certifications may be required during employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.

Qualifications

• No previous experience needed.
• Sponsorship for TN Visa to EB3 is provided for candidates from Mexico and Canada.
• Ability to travel may be needed for training.
