About the Role
Join Mizuho as a Junior Technology Project Manager for Investment Banking Business – Snowflake Migration Projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Snowflake migration projects.
- Independently manage the execution of projects.
- Resolve project issues, assess associated risks and impacts, manage resource constraints, and recommend and implement the most appropriate course of action to support project success and meet project deadlines.
- Manage project milestones and deliverables, providing regular status updates.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and meeting notes.
- Coordinate with technical and business teams and among stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Contribute to post-migration reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
- Recommend solutions to project challenges.
- Identify and mitigate risks.
- Prioritize deliverables.
- Manage timelines.
- Work with cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate resources.
- Contribute to documentation and reporting efforts.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Familiarity with cloud data solutions, preferably Snowflake.
- Understanding of cloud data platforms and migration processes (Datawarehouse and/or datalake experience preferred).
- Awareness of investment banking technology and data solutions would be an advantage, specifically DCM, ECM, M&A/Advisory or Corporate Finance business lines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- PMP certified.
- Experience or coursework in project management or technology coordination.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Note: This role has a hybrid working program with varying opportunities for remote work.
Salary Range: $83k-$120k. Compensation is based on skills, training, experience, education, certifications, market, and organizational factors. Discretionary bonus eligible.
