About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated intern to support the day-to-day operations of an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF). The role involves monitoring fund accounts, checking and reconciling trades, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting the CEO’s Office with operational and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor fund-related bank, broker, demat, and other accounts, as applicable.
- Verify account balances, fund movements, and transactions against supporting records.
- Check trade details and assist with reconciliation of trades, broker statements, and contract notes.
- Track trade settlements and identify discrepancies or unmatched entries for escalation.
- Maintain fund-related data, transaction records, and Excel-based reports and trackers.
- Assist in preparing MIS reports, documentation, and records for internal reviews and audits.
- Support the CEO’s Office with research, presentations, data analysis, coordination, and other assigned tasks.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic understanding of financial markets, equities, and derivatives.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management.
Qualifications
- Good analytical skills, numerical accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Graduates in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related fields are preferred.
