About the Role

This part-time remote role focuses on organizing, supporting, and developing a strong volunteer community.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and engagement.
• Ensure volunteers understand their responsibilities and have the resources they need.
• Plan and deliver volunteer training.
• Maintain clear communication with volunteers and project stakeholders.
• Track volunteer participation and feedback.
• Coordinate community outreach activities.
• Promote volunteer opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align volunteer efforts with organizational goals.
• Regularly review processes and tools to improve the volunteer experience and support the impact of Bau mit KI’s initiatives.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Comfort using digital collaboration tools and volunteer management platforms.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training, including organizing programs and supporting volunteers throughout their lifecycle.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust, provide guidance, and maintain effective relationships with diverse volunteer groups.
• Background in Community Outreach, with the ability to design and implement initiatives that attract and retain volunteers.
• Proven organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple activities in a remote environment.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems while aligning with Bau mit KI’s mission and values.
• Prior experience in nonprofit, community projects, or volunteer coordination is preferred but not required.
