What You'll Work On
- Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Promotional and business marketing videos
- Talking-head and podcast videos
- YouTube long-form video editing
- Motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects
- Subtitles, captions, sound design, and colour grading
Project requirements will vary depending on client needs and your editing skills.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in at least one video editing tool, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Ability to produce clean, engaging, professional videos.
- Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, and audio synchronization.
- Ability to follow creative briefs and meet agreed deadlines.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to make revisions within the agreed project scope.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client materials.
Beginners with strong portfolios are welcome to apply. A degree or formal qualification is not required.
Qualifications
- Basic contact details and editing experience.
- Editing software you use.
- A Google Drive portfolio containing 3–5 of your best video editing samples.
- Your expected per-project rates for Basic, Standard, and Advanced editing.
- Your typical turnaround time and availability.
Note
This is a freelance, project-based opportunity, not a permanent full-time position. Projects are offered based on client requirements and availability; a fixed workload or monthly income is not guaranteed. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to complete a small paid editing test.
