About the Role

Indian Startup Premier League (ISPL) is India’s first sports-driven startup pitching show made for OTT & YT. This is a full-time Video Editor role based in Mumbai with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Editing raw footage into engaging content for social media, event highlights, promotional videos, and founder/investor storytelling.
• Organizing and trimming clips.
• Applying transitions, effects, and color correction.
• Integrating motion graphics and basic design elements.
• Ensuring consistent branding across all video assets.
• Collaborating closely with the marketing and production teams to plan video concepts, meet content calendars, and optimize videos for digital platforms.
• Managing file assets.
• Maintaining project documentation.
• Staying updated on video trends relevant to startups and sports.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
• Skills in Video Color Grading.
• Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is beneficial.
• Proficiency in basic motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and an eye for pacing, sound, and visual composition are beneficial.
• Experience creating content for social media and digital campaigns, preferably in sports, entertainment, or startup ecosystems, is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines is beneficial.
• A relevant degree or certification in film, media, communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
