About the Role
Love's Travel Stops is hiring immediately for a Retail Customer Service Cashier to work in a fast-paced environment. Cashiers maintain clean places while having friendly faces, providing fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers. Flexibility and teamwork are important, as duties may vary depending on business needs. No experience is necessary, as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- General customer service duties, including assisting customers with finding items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities, while adhering to all state and local laws.
- Utilizing various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Potential for cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
