Collection executive ( Only) (FIELD JOB)

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site field role based in Gurugram for an experienced Collection Executive.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customers in the field to follow up on overdue accounts.
• Negotiate repayment plans.
• Ensure timely recovery of outstanding dues in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Verify customer information.
• Assess repayment behavior.
• Provide accurate feedback and reports to the finance and credit teams.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions.
• Escalate high-risk accounts when necessary.
• Support overall portfolio quality by minimizing delinquencies.
• Regular coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Adherence to ethical and compliant collection practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Debt Collection skills.
• Credit Control skills for managing overdue accounts and repayment schedules.
• Excellent Communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams in a professional and respectful manner.
• Solid Analytical Skills for assessing customer profiles, repayment risks, and recovery strategies.
• Fundamental Finance knowledge for understanding loan terms, interest calculations, and compliance requirements.
• Relevant experience in field collections within NBFCs, banks, or financial services.
• Ability to work in the field, travel within assigned areas, and manage time and territory efficiently.
• Proficiency in local language and basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry, reports) is beneficial.
• Strong ethical standards.

• A customer-focused yet firm approach to collections.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma.
• A degree in Finance, Commerce, or related fields is an advantage.
