About the Role

• Full-time, on-site position
• Location: Sandy, UT
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and BIM models for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural drawings and BIM models using industry-standard BIM software.
• Interpret engineering markups.
• Create plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Update models and drawings in response to design changes.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and other project team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain drawing standards.
• Organize project files.
• Assist with revisions for permitting and construction.
• Support quality control processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Demonstrated proficiency in structural drafting and BIM tools (Revit).
• Ability to produce clear construction documents and models.
• Understanding of building structures and construction practices.
• Basic knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood framing.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Sandy, UT.
• Ability to maintain reliable attendance.
• Ability to adapt to evolving project needs and workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in drafting, BIM technology, civil/structural engineering technology, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a structural or architectural drafting/BIM role is preferred.
