Frequently asked questions
Which companies sponsor H-1B visas for new grads?
From Oct 2025 - Jun 2026, the companies with the most entry-level (Level I) H-1B applications for new hires were Grandison Management (1,967), Amazon.com Services (1,460), Meta Platforms (740), Amazon Development Center U.S. (563), Wal-mart Associates (264). In all, 11,334 employers filed at least one.
What does an entry-level H-1B application mean?
Before filing an H-1B petition, an employer files a Labor Condition Application (LCA) with the Department of Labor stating the job, place and wage. Level I is the lowest of four prevailing wage levels, used for entry-level roles. We count certified LCAs at Level I for new employment: the filings companies make to hire someone new at entry level.
If a company filed H-1B applications, will it sponsor me?
Not necessarily. An LCA shows a company has sponsored H-1B workers for that kind of role, not that every job is open to sponsorship or that a petition was approved. Read each posting and ask the recruiter early. Companies that file many entry-level LCAs are a better bet when you need sponsorship after OPT.
What is the typical entry-level H-1B salary?
The median offered wage on entry-level H-1B applications was $80k a year (Oct 2025 - Jun 2026). It varies a lot by role and city; each role and company page here shows its own median.
Source: U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Foreign Labor Certification, LCA disclosure data (Oct 2025 - Jun 2026), certified H-1B applications only. “Entry-level new hire” means a Labor Condition Application at prevailing wage Level I for new employment. An LCA is filed before an H-1B petition; it is not a visa approval, and some are never used. Past filings don't promise that a company will sponsor you. Check each job's posting and ask the recruiter.
