The individual will work on the design, verification, and implementation of digital and/or mixed-signal integrated circuits, collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams. The role involves contributing to process improvements, maintaining high-quality design standards, and staying current with industry tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and reviewing RTL designs.
- Performing simulation and verification.
- Analyzing synthesis and timing reports.
- Supporting physical design teams with constraints and design intent.
- Documenting design specifications.
- Participating in design reviews.
- Engaging in debugging and root-cause analysis of functional or performance issues.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with hardware description languages (such as Verilog or VHDL) and familiarity with RTL design and simulation flows.
- Experience with EDA tools for synthesis, static timing analysis, and verification (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, or similar tools).
- Understanding of physical design concepts, including floorplanning, placement, routing, and power/performance optimization, is an advantage.
- Exposure to low-power design techniques, high-speed interfaces, or SOC integration is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in digital electronics, VLSI design principles, and semiconductor device fundamentals.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, write clear design specifications, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
