Travel Consultant

About the Role

As a Travel Consultant at Avid Explorers, you will be the primary point of contact for travelers planning their trips. You will understand traveler needs, recommend suitable destinations and itineraries, and guide them through the booking process from initial inquiry to trip confirmation. You will communicate with travelers via calls, WhatsApp, and email, provide quotations and travel information, and maintain contact throughout their journey to ensure a smooth experience. This role will also involve developing expertise in destinations, travel planning, and creating memorable trips.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, and email.
• Understand traveler requirements and advise on suitable destinations and itineraries.
• Customize itineraries based on customer preferences.
• Follow up with leads and support the booking process.
• Share quotations, itineraries, and travel-related information with travelers.
• Maintain timely communication with customers before, during, and after their trip.
• Coordinate with the operations team on trip details.
• Build lasting relationships that drive repeat bookings and referrals.
• Continuously learn about destinations, travel products, and sales processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi & Gujarati.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-first mindset.
• Good coordination and teamwork abilities.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
