About the Role
Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 3-North Medical Telemetry Unit in Elizabeth City, NC. This is a Day Shift position with 36 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing and admitting patients
- Performing rounding checks
- Administering medications
- Communicating with family members
- Providing overall patient care
- Working collaboratively within a team environment
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Registered Nursing License (Required)
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
- Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (Required)
- Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program are encouraged to apply.
- Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- None required
- 1 year of acute care (preferred)
- Previous healthcare experience (preferred)
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) or MSN (Preferred)

Note: Sentara's 6-month Nurse Residency program is available for new graduate RNs with less than one year of experience.
