About the Role
This part-time, on-site Robotics and AI Assistant Educator role is based in Mumbai. The educator will support and deliver interactive, hands-on lessons in robotics and AI for school-age learners, following OLL’s practical learning approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with lesson planning.
- Prepare materials and equipment.
- Guide students through projects.
- Facilitate classroom activities and discussions.
- Monitor student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with lead educators to improve course content and teaching methods.
- Maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.
- May participate in workshops, events, or demonstrations related to robotics, AI, and other future-focused skills.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Foundational knowledge of robotics and AI concepts.
- Practical experience with educational robotics kits or coding tools is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in Mumbai.
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary education team.
Qualifications
- Strong teaching and education skills.
- Experience working with school-age learners in group or classroom settings.
- Proficiency in lesson planning and training.
- Ability to design structured, hands-on learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in an accessible way.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics, encourage participation, and foster an inclusive, learner-centered environment.
- Relevant academic background in education, engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in STEM or skills-based education programs is beneficial.
