About the Opportunity

Alttred Nexxus is seeking freelance video editors to create engaging, high-quality videos for brands across D2C, hospitality, and edtech. This is a 100% remote, freelance, output-based role with flexible working hours. Compensation is based on the number of videos successfully delivered, with the potential to earn up to ₹40,000 per month for a target of 50 videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos, Instagram Reels, advertisements, and other digital video content.
• Work with clients across D2C, hospitality, edtech, and other industries.
• Create engaging edits incorporating strong hooks, storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound design, and visual effects.
• Adapt editing style to various brand identities, audiences, and creative briefs.
• Edit both live-action footage and AI-generated videos.
• Transform raw footage and provided assets into compelling final videos.
• Meet assigned weekly targets and agreed delivery deadlines.
• Maintain consistent quality while working independently.

Compensation

• Freelance, output-based engagement.
• Earn up to ₹40,000 per month for completing a target of 50 videos.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar.
• Understanding of short-form content, Instagram Reels, and performance-driven video creatives.
• An interest in AI-generated video and platforms like Kling, Runway, Google Veo, or similar is a plus.

Qualifications

• A strong video editing portfolio demonstrating creativity and execution.
• Good understanding of storytelling, hooks, pacing, music, sound design, and visual composition.
• Ability to adapt to different brand styles and creative briefs.
• Good time management skills and the ability to deliver consistently without constant supervision.
• Openness to feedback and ability to incorporate revisions within agreed timelines.
• Self-taught editors and freshers with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
• Editors who can manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain quality at scale.
