Job Description
- Hardware & Network: Sound knowledge in Hardware & Network.
- Operating Systems: Experience with Windows Server and client operating systems.
- System Installation & Maintenance:
- Installing or upgrading Windows systems and applications.
- Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and servers.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
- VOIP Services: Good knowledge on VOIP services (configuring Desk phones, applications, reports etc.).
- Network Management:
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring network performance and connectivity.
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, and other networking devices.
- Firewall and Router Related Experience: Experience with Failover, Load balancing, VLANS, VPN, Content Filtering.
- User Support & Training:
- Provide support for end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Assist in training staff on software and hardware usage.
- System Monitoring:
- Monitor and manage system performance, security, and backups.
- Perform regular system health checks and updates.
- Security & Backup:
- Assist in ensuring the security of the network by implementing appropriate measures, including antivirus software, firewalls, and regular updates.
- Help in managing data backup and recovery processes.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of system configurations, software licenses, and hardware inventories.
- Generate regular reports on system performance and incidents.
- Recruitment Tools (Good to have): Any knowledge of recruitment ATS tools and job boards (Ceipal, Oorwin).
- Vendor Handling
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with system administration tools and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- A keen interest in IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
