Ken42 powers institutions across admissions, academics, examinations, student services, placements, alumni, research, and more. Our platform sits at the center of how institutions operate. We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious QA Intern who is interested in software testing and ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications, web applications, and technology products. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manual and functional testing, API testing, and QA automation while working closely with experienced developers and product teams.

Location: Bengaluru/Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing test cases for Salesforce applications, web applications, APIs, and product features.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Test user journeys, business workflows, and product functionalities to identify issues and inconsistencies.
• Assist in validating Salesforce features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Flows, and custom applications.
• Perform basic API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and collaborate with developers to verify fixes.
• Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test data, and testing documentation.
• Support release testing and validate fixes before deployment.
• Explore automation testing tools and assist in developing automated test scripts.
• Work with developers, product managers, and other team members to improve product quality and user experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with manual testing, functional testing, and test case writing.
• Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and client-server architecture.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Salesforce or CRM platforms is a plus.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
