Design Intern

About the Role

• Join our Engineering & Design team as a Design Intern – Biopharma.
• Gain hands-on experience in 3D product design, engineering drawings, prototyping, and design development.
• This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Pune.
• Work closely with the Design and Engineering team on product development, CAD design, documentation, testing, and manufacturing coordination.
• Exposure to real-world biopharma and single-use products.
• Successful completion may lead to a full-time opportunity, subject to performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and modifying 2D/3D designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Support the preparation of engineering drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
• Support prototyping, testing, design validation, and design improvements.
• Assist in taking designs from concept through prototype and production under guidance.
• Learn and apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and basic GD&T principles.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining Design & Development (D&D) documentation.
• Support BOM preparation, drawing revisions, document numbering, and document control.
• Maintain records related to design changes, testing, and development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates and final-year students are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of basic engineering and mechanical design concepts.

Required Skills & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of SOLIDWORKS.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
