About the Role
Luxor Healthcare seeks a Weekend Wound Care Nurse (LPN / RN) to provide float-style support across multiple buildings, addressing weekend wound care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri.
- Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate resident condition.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
- Provide resident-specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.
- Duties include medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents’ care, and implementation of schedules for residents.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of MO.
Qualifications
- Some wound care experience preferred.
- WCC, WOCN certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
