Store Associate (Full Time)

About the Role

Store Associates keep Lidl stores running strong, delivering a fast, customer-focused experience. This is a dynamic role where impact is visible every hour. You will support daily operations from checkout and stocking to bakery, produce, and weekly promotional setups.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage customers with friendly, efficient service.
• Transition between checkout, stocking, and specialized areas to meet store needs.
• Meet productivity goals by working with urgency and following streamlined processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
• Execute daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas.
• Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, ensuring strong presentation, accurate signage, and pricing.
• Uphold high cleanliness standards across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
• Create a smooth, efficient checkout experience by operating the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
• Handle customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues.
• Help keep inventory accurate and stock-loss low by adhering to inventory control measures.
• Ensure a safe environment by following all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Work closely with the team to complete daily tasks and ensure smooth store operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
• Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 lbs. and reach above head height (10+ inches) frequently.
