Merchandiser/Cashier

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and assist in locating merchandise.
• Direct customers to parts specialists for hard parts.
• Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
• Keep the front area and display floor stocked, fronted, full, and clean.
• Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms.
• Update out-front pricing and ensure sale signs and sale merchandise are in place.
• Remove sale materials and restore original pricing after sales end.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
• Act as a primary shoplifting deterrent and front floor security.
• Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Check out customers purchasing front floor merchandise quickly and in a friendly manner.
• Handle merchandise returns from customers efficiently and in a friendly manner.
• Assist customers at the counter when the express lane is not in use and the counter is busy.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Qualifications

• Desired: Previous cashier experience.
• Desired: Previous stocking experience.
