Job Title: New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

About the Role

• Provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse, matching patients’ needs with the nurse's competencies.
• Completes established competencies for the position within a designated introductory period.
• Other related duties as assigned.
• This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Texas State License for Registered Nurse

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) on hire (ARC or AHA); must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (for ADULT CRITICAL CARE, TELEMETRY, INTERIM CRITICAL CARE UNITS). Should be completed before the end of the orientation period.
• PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (for PEDI ICU). Should be completed before the end of the orientation period.
• NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (for NICU).
• S.T.A.B.L.E. for NICU - Level 2 Nursery. Must provide proof of prior completion or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer date into unit (Renewal is not required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree
• Two years in acute care.
• Previous clinical nursing experience in med/surg, telemetry or ICU.
