About the Role
Plaskolite is seeking an ambitious, hands-on engineering graduate to join our manufacturing team as an Extrusion Quality & Process Engineer. This position is aligned with second shift (Mon - Fri 3 pm-11 pm).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting of quality and process issues on extrusion lines
- Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Investigate customer and internal quality concerns
- Support process optimization projects focused on productivity, scrap reduction, and product consistency
- Develop standard operating procedures and process documentation
- Conduct root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods
- Work closely with operators to improve manufacturing performance
- Support trials of new materials, products, and equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering or a Related Engineering Discipline
