About the Role
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer to support the software engineering lifecycle. This role involves requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery, following the program Software Development Plan (SDP).
Key Responsibilities
- Support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP).
- Perform requirements analysis.
- Conduct object-oriented analysis & design.
- Write and unit test code.
- Execute integration tasks.
- Provide support to formal test and delivery.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- C, C++, or Python
- Java, Ada, Rust (Desired)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university.
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development.
- Experience or classroom knowledge with embedded software/hardware.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- This position will require a government security clearance.
- This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Salary Range: $67,000.00 - $124,400.00
