About the Role
Research Interns at TikTok are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Key Responsibilities
This internship provides students the opportunity to join one of our engineering teams where you will have the opportunity to:
- Conduct cutting-edge research and development in computer vision, machine learning and other related fields.
- Work with Research Scientists to deliver advanced technologies to TikTok products.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026.
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Strong track record of research in one or more areas of computer vision, computer graphics, and machine learning.
- Preferring candidates with publications in conferences such as SIGGRAPH/SIGGRAPH Asia, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR.
- Highly competent in algorithms and programming.
- Work and collaborate well with team members.
- Ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
- High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.
