Production Assembler

About the Role

Chart Industries is seeking enthusiastic Production Assemblers to join the Chart ACHEs (Air Cooled Heat Exchanger) team. This role is key to the manufacturing process, producing high-quality products efficiently and consistently.

Base Pay: $18.00

Location: Beasley, TX, United States

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of air-cooled heat exchangers.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of company and industry safety standards, procedures, and policies.
• Maintain required production and inspection records.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
• Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
• Test finished products for defects.
• Maintain the tools used to create products.
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
• Work collaboratively with team members and coworkers in other departments.

Physical Work Environment Requirements

• Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling.
• Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of material.
• Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions.
• Repetitive hand movements during the assembly process.
• Working at heights (use of fall protection).

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Minimum 6 months industrial manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with use of hand tools and power tools.
• Understanding and use of basic blueprints.
• Ability to use and understand various measuring devices.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Fall protection experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
