Retail Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Receive donations, greet donors, accept and unload donated materials.
• Enter customer general information into a smart device.
• Sort, separate, and hang clothing and household items.
• Sort, test, clean, and mark small appliances, housewares, shoes, seasonal items, and other assorted merchandise.
• Conduct sales transactions and maintain control of cash and credit card transactions.
• Perform cleaning duties for bathrooms, floors, shelves, windows, break room, store fixtures, fitting rooms, dock area, store exterior, and merchandise counters.
• Report issues that require maintenance repairs.
• Provide customer assistance, price merchandise, and assist in fitting rooms.
• Offer recycling bags and explain store operations.
• Utilize sales techniques to enhance store sales and community image.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with smart devices (phones or tablets).
• Skills in customer service, sales, and cashiering.
• Abilities in stocking, sorting, inventory management, sizing, color coordination, and cleaning.
