About the Role
Sevita provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This full-time position offers $17.00 per hour.
Available Shift: (Full-Time 40) Sun 9a-1p, Mon 12p-8p, Tue/ Wed 3p-8p, Fri 5-10p, Sat 9a-10p
Key Responsibilities
- Help people grow, learn, and live well.
- Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
- Assist participants in being part of the community and enjoying activities.
- Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Assist people with personal hygiene.
- Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
- At least 1 year of holding a Driver's License (post permit).
- A clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
- Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
- Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
