About the Role
Criclive.in is a dedicated cricket platform that has evolved into a comprehensive destination for cricket fans. This is a full-time, on-site Android Developer role based in Janakpuri. The Android Developer will design, build, and maintain mobile applications for the Criclive.in platform, ensuring smooth performance and an engaging user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing new features.
- Optimizing existing functionality.
- Integrating APIs for live data and commentary.
- Collaborating with designers and product stakeholders to translate requirements into robust Android solutions.
- Troubleshooting issues.
- Conducting code reviews.
- Writing clean and testable code.
- Staying current with Android best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Android Development and Android Design.
- Familiarity with modern UI/UX patterns and guidelines.
- Solid foundation in Software Development principles, including object-oriented programming, testing, and version control.
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin and/or Java for Android.
- Experience with Android SDK.
- Experience with Android Studio.
- Experience with RESTful API integration.
- Understanding of performance optimization.
- Understanding of offline data handling.
- Understanding of responsive design for diverse devices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Mobile Application Development.
- Experience delivering production-ready Mobile Applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to manage tasks independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Passion for cricket and interest in building engaging, real-time sports applications is highly beneficial.
