Mobile Application Developer

About the Role

Humanova is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Application Developer to join its technology team. This is a full-time hybrid role focused on developing, improving, and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mobile development experience, a strong understanding of application architecture, and the ability to build reliable, secure, and user-friendly applications. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to develop new features, improve application performance, resolve technical issues, and deliver a consistent mobile experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Build and improve features related to employee wellbeing, engagement, learning, attendance, and workforce management.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create responsive, user-friendly mobile interfaces.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, push notifications, and authentication systems.
• Identify and fix bugs, improve application performance, and maintain code quality.
• Implement secure authentication, data protection, and application security practices.
• Manage app releases, updates, and deployments through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Work closely with backend developers and product teams to deliver new features.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous application improvements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Hands-on experience developing mobile applications for iOS, Android, or both.
• Proficiency in at least one relevant technology: Flutter, React Native, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), mobile application architecture, and design principles.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, and backend services.
• Knowledge of Firebase, push notifications, authentication, and mobile app debugging.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Understanding of application performance optimization, testing, and security.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing and maintaining production applications published on the App Store or Google Play.
• Experience with cross-platform mobile development using Flutter or React Native.
• Knowledge of real-time chat, video calling, and third-party SDK integrations.
• Experience integrating analytics, engagement tracking, and notification systems.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Firebase, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with HRTech, HealthTech, wellness, or SaaS-based applications.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
