UI Designer & Frontend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically skilled UI Designer & Frontend Developer to join our Technology team. This is a hybrid role combining UI/UX design and frontend development, where you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive digital experiences. You will work on websites, landing pages, dashboards, and digital products, taking projects from initial design concepts in Figma to functional, production-ready interfaces. We are looking for someone who understands both how a digital product should look and how it should work.

Key Responsibilities

• UI/UX Design
• Design clean, modern, and intuitive user interfaces using Figma.
• Create wireframes, user flows, page layouts, and high-fidelity designs.
• Apply UI/UX principles, including typography, spacing, color, visual hierarchy, and consistency.
• Design websites, landing pages, dashboards, forms, and reusable UI components.
• Identify opportunities to improve usability and user experience.
• Frontend Development
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, production-ready frontend interfaces.
• Develop and maintain interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and/or Tailwind CSS.
• Work with React, Laravel Blade, or other relevant frameworks as required.
• Ensure high visual accuracy between approved designs and developed interfaces.
• Implement interactive elements, including forms, buttons, hover effects, and animations.
• Responsive Design & Quality Assurance
• Build responsive interfaces optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent user experiences.
• Identify and resolve layout issues, UI inconsistencies, and frontend bugs.
• Optimize frontend performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Develop reusable components and follow established coding standards.
• Collaboration & Project Ownership
• Collaborate with Creative, Content, Backend, and Technology teams.
• Understand project requirements and translate them into practical design and development solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned projects from concept to implementation.
• Deliver work within agreed timelines and communicate progress proactively.
• Suggest improvements to existing designs, interfaces, and user journeys.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Design Skills
• Working knowledge of Figma.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Good sense of typography, color theory, spacing, grids, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to create visually consistent and user-friendly interfaces.
• Technical Skills
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap and/or Tailwind CSS.
• Understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility.
• Basic understanding of Git and version control.
• Exposure to React or Laravel Blade is an added advantage.
• Professional Skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn new design tools and frontend technologies.
• Sense of ownership and accountability for assigned work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, UI/UX Design, Web Development, or a related field.
• Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with a strong portfolio demonstrating both design and frontend development skills will be preferred.
