Software Tester Intern

About the Role

• This is a full-time remote Software Tester Intern role at Stratocope.
• The role offers hands-on experience with modern testing practices and an opportunity to learn from experienced software professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the testing of web and software applications.
• Execute test cases and document results.
• Report defects in a clear and structured manner.
• Collaborate with developers and product team members.
• Review requirements and user stories.
• Assist in designing basic test scenarios to validate new features and changes.
• Assist in regression testing.
• Participate in quality assurance activities.
• Contribute to improving test documentation and test processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Understanding of basic testing concepts and workflows.
• Skills in Test Execution and working with Test Cases (creating, running, documenting).
• Strong Analytical Skills for identifying issues, interpreting results, and suggesting improvements.
• Basic familiarity with software development processes (e.g., Agile or Scrum) and version control tools is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Interest in building a career in software quality assurance.
• Willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
